Police said admiral arrested 21 bodies Friday afterwards they searched the burghal for bodies capital for acreage crimes.
"That's a lot of offenders, and that's a lot of warrants, and that's a lot of cases," said Albuquerque Police Lt. Paul Szych.
The assembly came afore the Balloon Fiesta.
"They apperceive area they're activity to be staying, what times they're activity to sleep, what times the contest booty place," Szych said.
Those arrested accommodate Julian Chavez and David Reichbach.
Police said Reichbach has a continued history of acreage crimes.
Chavez, Szych said, has been, "stealing aerial dollar purses at one of our beyond retail malls."
Szych said the crackdown on acreage abomination offenders isn't over. The assembly was one of several operations to accumulate the association safe during Balloon Fiesta.
"Those association aren't activity to be out and about back the time comes for all these association to appear into town," he said.
Balloon Fiesta bliss off in one anniversary and goes until Oct. 12.
