What is it like to ride on a plane from start to finish?
Okay so this saturday, I'm flying to New Mexico. It will be my first time to ever ride in a plane and I'm super scared about it! And im 13. But then people say that its so fun and that I have nothing to worry about. But anyways were taking a flight from Little Rock to Dallas so its not very long. Then were flying from Dallas to Albuquerque which isnt all that long either. But I'm just scared thinking about like crashing or something like that. So I just want to know what its like to ride a plane :)

when you take off and climb in elevation, your ears will feel weird because they're like popping. but there's nothing to worry about, it's just like sitting in a car to tell you the truth, but when you look out the window, you see clouds and chiz. it's pretty cool(:

its awesome, youll like it, if you get motion sickness, just dont look out the window and focus on something inside the plane, flying is safer than crossing the road

It's an experience! I first flew when I was 8, I'm 45 now, and I still love it every time. Getting through the airport at either end is the worst part - so much bureaucracy and security checks. It's safer than going by car and the statistics prove it. It's just that if there is a crash, it involves a whole plane-load of people so it's more likely to make the news, while cars crash all the time so it isn't news. The whole airline industry is very safety-conscious so you have nothing to worry about.

Personally I LOVE it. It's tons of fun. The take off you'll feel like your stomach drops a little as the plane lifts off the ground. If once you get off the ground the plane starts dipping to the side or shaking, don't worry - it's turning and taking it's wheels in. Once you get over 5,000 or 6,000 feet, the rest of the ride is very smooth and flat and simple. Unless you hit turbulence, which is really nothing but wind - nothing to worry about. Pilots don't even care about turbulence against a giant metal plane! You'll be able to feel the plane start to descend even before the pilot says anything. Landing is nothing more than a little rockiness and a bounce when you hit the runway. It's my favorite part! And remember: you're more likely to win the jackpot and get struck by lightening than die in a plane crash.
