Depends a great deal on the airline you are working for, and where they have "hubs" at. I would say that Albuquerque is a large enough city that you should be able to.

It depends who you want to work for ... some companies may require you to relocate ...

~ Can you "stay" in Albuquerque? Sure. As a flight attendant, you can live there and commute (by plane) to work in another city. Some people commute to work coast to coast. Having to move all depends on how willing you are to commute to another state weekly to go to work. ~ Can you be a flight attendant based in ABQ? No. There are no airlines that base their flight attendants there. Crew member trips begin and end in a base or "domicile". This may or may not be the same city in which the crew member lives. A person I know lives in ABQ and commutes to work in Phoenix for Southwest Airlines, so it can be done from there easily. The closest crew base to ABQ is in Farmington for Mesa Air Groups "Air Midwest" (or US Airwasy Express): http://www.airlineapps.com/transition/76/jobs.asp I suggest you apply with Southwest Airlines, as they have the biggest volume of flight into and out of ABQ. They also have frequent overnights in ABQ: http://www.southwest.com/careers/

it depends on the airline and where they have their 'domiciles,' or bases located. The domicile or base is where they want their attendants to be close too. good luck.
