BERKELEY - California active to Albuquerque this anniversary to attempt in the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational captivated at the UNM Championship Course.
The two-day, 54-hole clash will be played on the par-73, 6,192-yard advance that was home to the 1987 and 2008 Women's NCAA Golf Championships. Competition for the 16 teams and 13 individuals begins with 36 holes on Monday with an 8 am (PT) shotgun start, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
The Bears will go with a calendar of Alice Jeong, Hannah Suh, Carly Childs, Marthe Wold and Jo Ee Kok. Senior Morgan Thompson will attempt as an individual.
California aftermost competed at the clash in the 2005-06 division back the aggregation of Sofie Aagard (nee Andersson), Enu Chung, Sophia Sheridan, Shannon Yocum and Jen Sanders placed seventh with a 21-over 897. The Bears went on to accomplishment fifth at the NCAA Championships after that season.
